Half Sleeve Henna Tattoo | How to DIY Temporary Tattoo | Stella

So, This is a video on how to use, apply and finish a Henna Tattoo. I hope you like it.\r
\r
Heres how this whole henna thing works:\r
- I purchased my tube of henna on ebay and it was very inexpensive, however, any local Indian/Asian store nearby might have one.\r
\r
- A tip when buying henna: make sure that it contains no PPD ie. Black Henna, as that could lead to severe burns. You could tell the difference between black henna and regular henna as regular henna has a greenish-brown colour as opposed to black.\r
\r
- Test out the product and get familiar with its shape before you ually get to staining your skin.\r
\r
- When applying the product, apply pressure to the end of the tube rather than the middle or the tip of the tube. This helps the henna flow better.\r
\r
-When you are done with your design, let it harden until it crusts. Here you have the option to dry it with a hairdryer for a darker tattoo.\r
\r
-Also, apply a lemon-sugar solution (few drops of lemon to 1/2 tsp. of sugar) on top of the tattoo crust. This allows the tattoo to seep into the skin for a darker-longer lasting tattoo.\r
\r
-When letting it set over-night, cover it with plastic wrap to prevent it from staining your bedsheets.\r
\r
- Henna needs a good amount of time for it to set into your skin, from 2-12 hours. I usually leave it over-night.\r
\r
- Finally, scrape of your henna with your nails or a card. Avoid water until after 12 hours of application.\r
\r
Henna tends to be orange at first but then darkens to a brown. It lasts for 2-3 weeks.\r
\r
I hope you enjoyed my video and if you want to know anything, ask away :)\r

XOXO\r
